Church is not just about meeting once a week to "get it over and done with". Church is about God's people meeting together as a community, to encourage, help, challenge and to enjoy being a part of God's kingdom. Church is meant to be a place that you can call home.
So our activities will try to:
- learn about God through his word,
- respond to God through prayer,
- be social and enjoyable
Sunday Church Services
You are welcome to any (or all!) of our church services. They do differ slightly in the types of songs, length and associated activities, but the same service is preached at the 9am, 11am and 6:30pm congregation each day.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our service times are being altered to meet the situation. The front page will be updated regularly with the situation.
Evening bible studies
A number of bible studies are held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
The evening bible study groups normally meet in someone's home.
50+ Group
The 50+ group is a group for over 50s. They get together once a month for a variety of activities. If you are 49 you may be able to sneak in 🙂
Women’s Bible Study
Thursdays 9:30am-11:30am
The Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study meets in the church hall. It is made up of a number of groups that meet in the one location. Each group will work through the same material. Morning tea is a great opportunity to socialise and relax.
Children are looked after with activities. This allows mums to have time to focus on the group without disruption.
This is a great bible study for mothers at home, retired women and for any other woman who finds herself at home on a Thursday.
Men’s Bible Study
Thursdays 9:30am-11:30am
And after a while some men realised that the women shouldn’t have all the fun so they started meeting together as well. So if you are a retiree or at home on a Thursday then please feel welcome to drop in.
